In a time of Peace there are so many people living in the midst of social, political and economic violence everyday.

The only way to have Peace is to create Peace. We create peace by our thoughts, words, action, intentions and deeds. Chose peaceful solutions you create peace. Violence creates violence.

It is no longer a choice between violence and nonviolence in this world: it's nonviolence or nonexistence; that is where we are today.

What are you going to do different in 2011?

As we take stock of this year, the lessons and challenges as well as the successes and triumphs.

The greatest challenge we always face is the “person in the mirror”. Change is individual in order for a society to change. Individuals create change based on a change in their thought process, actions, words and deeds.

In the midst of the darkest of times there are opportunities. This is not the darkest of times. Fear brings destruction.

It is a proven fact, historically, when people worked together in difficult times, they survived to grow and thrive.

First we must work with ourselves to always improve and elevate personally, physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally.

These times require us to work together first within the family, then the neighborhood, the community, the state, the country, and the planet.

Fear produces blocks in our lives. Fear can manifest as stubbornness, greed, insecurity, selfishness, and panic.


Fear causes us to make decisions that create the situation we were trying to avoid.


To improve the situation you have let go of fear. You let fear control you for far too long.


There are many people depending upon you to think, act and proceed with courage and wisdom.

True change will happen based on our individual actions.

To change the world we must change ourselves.

True change is in our hands.

With all this shouting back and forth we cannot hear each other.

If we cannot hear each other, then we cannot have a meaningful dialogue. 

We need to learn how to disagree with each other, and not let minor disagreements blind us to the fact we are interdependent. Like it or not. It is what it is.


Time to mature as a nation, this is our true test. There is a way to disagree civilly, intelligently and rationally. 


 It requires each of us to live this way every day with everything we do.

The Circle

The underground railroad had many stops along the station to freedom. There are many more that were left behind.

The Toughest Battle

This is a time for facing the battles deep within that we share with no one. The reality of our inner dialogue is the reflection of our true self. 


The false words and deceptions we give to others will not protect us from ourselves and this battle.

Each of us has our respective journey that cannot be compared to others.

It is ours alone. 


The people in your life are the mirror to your true self at this moment. 


There are times we all have to sink to the depths of our darkness to elevate to our highest light. 


Understand not everyone can be in your life during this journey for it is yours alone.
