I appreciate the honesty of Newt Gingrich and his black republican Ally Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson. I want to know how folk really think.
This is why we can never forget our history here in America. We were physically enslaved for 400+ years, then came Jim Crow, Institutionalized Racism during our 150 years of "freedom". I know we are not monolithic in our views, politics and religion. Our history in America is that Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. was the rarity, Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson the norm.
Listen, learn, heed and prepare.
There is a constituency that supports Newt Gingrich. After over 500 years there is still a significant segment of America that refuses to see the humanity of American people who are Black.
