Healing is a Process & Journey

This is a time for self-reflection and correction.

We have each accumulated unproductive negativity, pain, hurt, and disappointment. With this debris it is difficult to access a higher frequency of our energies.

Healing is a journey requiring focus, practice and ritual. Change is a step by step process of internal spiritual cleansings through baths, readings/divinations and meditations.

This is an ancient way of living.

In our modern times we have neglected the ancient truths.

To reconnect on a meaningful and productive level requires working internally. Change is individual and internal to manifest externally. This is a miraculous time if we reconnect to the ancient truths and wisdoms. Water therapies have been identified to stimulate healing. (University of Maryland Medical Center, 2011)

Cleaning the spiritual body gives us more control over our lives. (Teish, 1985)

This year spiritual baths have become part of my daily life and that of my family and friends. With daily guidance from the Ancestors and Orishas customized baths are assisting each of us along this journey of self-actualization. Baths are customized daily.

The baths energize the water. The salt baths can assist in calming or self-reflection or remove negative energies or re-energizing, explained A.A

It is a process of baths to work with you step by step. Change is a step by step process. Spiritual baths assist in strengthening your internal guidance.

It is a way to reconnect to Ancestral roots and guidance.

Humanity

This year at this point and time in history, we must focus on humanity. We must see the humanity in each other beyond the pain.

It requires the one who is injured to have a deeper Spiritual strength to forgive.

It requires each of us to be responsible for our thoughts, actions, words, deeds and intention.

The challenge is responsibility not just for ourselves and families and loved ones but strangers, enemies and those we may not even know exist. We are at the most incredible time in human history.

The level of responsibility that is required to move forward to a better world that is just requires wisdom because we are interdependent – rich or poor – black – white Asian-every tribe – every cultural community matters.

Life is a precious gift. How can one life be of more value than another? Why is one culture better than another?

Different is different it doesn’t designate superiority or inferiority.

The Quantum Activist, Dr. Amit Goswani, Ph.D. shares his knowledge and guidance on what each of us can do. http://www.amitgoswami.org/scientific-proof-existence-god/

We are each responsible to create a better world for all of humanity and life on this planet. The basic questions for all of us that demand an honest response –
Do you respect the opposition’s humanity?
How do you find common ground if either party refuses to respect the other's humanity?

History of Slave Rebellions

There is so much about American history to learn. The slave rebellions are critical for us to learn about in understanding the institution of slavery sanctioned and supported at that time by the government. The history was not that long ago do not be deceived. This is history for all Americans. http://www.fold3.com/page/1437_slave_rebellion/

GOP and Tea Party Jobs Plan for Black America

I appreciate the honesty of Newt Gingrich and his black republican Ally Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson. I want to know how folk really think. This is why we can never forget our history here in America. We were physically enslaved for 400+ years, then came Jim Crow, Institutionalized Racism during our 150 years of "freedom". I know we are not monolithic in our views, politics and religion. Our history in America is that Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. was the rarity, Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson the norm. Listen, learn, heed and prepare.

It Is More About a One Day Celebration

Honor the work and message of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with the way you live day by day. Share his story with the children generation after generation. http://kalakutashow-djausar.podomatic.com/player/web/2012-01-16T08_58_51-08_00 Wake up.

A Simple Action

A Simple Action
“Consider looking for what’s working in a relationship, not what’s wrong in the person.” - Shawn Upchurch Today my horoscope perplexed me. I was searching for what I was missing. When you are seriously seeking, you receive guidance. Sincerity - Intention they so matter as my sister Randee Grant Gueye always reminds me. It has been about 20 years since I have experienced such an awakening. The last time was when Dr. Leonard Jeffries spoke at the NYS Board of Regents Conference in Albany, New York. Dr. Leonard Jeffries mentioned during his speech “7 African Holy Spirits.” My whole concept of life changed. Today these words have done this again - “Consider looking for what’s working in a relationship, not what’s wrong in the person.” This applies for all relationships. Such a simple action. Thank you for sharing on Twitter Shawn Upchurch. Happy New Year! Create a Healthy, Prosperous, Joyful and Wonderful New Year.

What am I seeking?

What am I seeking? When I asked for clarity today, this is what flowed.

The issues I have with the church are the same issues I am now having with traditional spirituality.

It is not God, the Orishas, the Ancestors or the Deities it is the human beings who manipulate spirit to attempt to control me.

At this stage in life I am not looking to become like another person, culture etc. I am looking for the common thread that connects us across our diversity.

Not interested in taking on other’s battles or to control others.

In my interactions others try to remold, reshape, direct, indoctrinate and in some instances force through fear and intimidation to follow to join to become part of their world.

Since embarking on interacting with others spiritually this year, I have gained a greater appreciation for my African Ancestors that endured their time in America.

I have deepened my respect for the trials and pains they endured and because of them; others of the African Diaspora have more advantages coming to this country.

My Ancestors contributed to building this nation and making it a superpower.

My Ancestors made a home in a foreign land.

As Africans from the continent, the Caribbean, Europe and all around the globe continue migrating here; we have much to learn from each other.

So far it is only the Orishas that have not been foreign to me. From the first moment I learned of them, I felt a return home spiritually.

I love the energies of the Orishas, it is how humans attempt to manipulate this knowledge to control others that bothers me, always has, always will.

I love the energies of Native American wisdom I have studied. I feel God in nature, in babies, in my day to day.

Do I ignore the warnings from my “spirit”?

It is about humanity at this time in our evolution.

Each tradition has contributions to the elevation of humanity. I am seeking understanding of spiritual traditions.

It is about finding the commonality between all spiritual beliefs, faiths and walks of life that is the highest truth, the rest is dogma.

We all have so much to learn, let’s focus on the learning.

Spirit uses people and it is how you deal with it that matters.

Your intentions guide the process, the journey.
