Obatala, from "Vodou Visions"
As I read blog responses, FaceBook posts, twitter
and social media networks we are not able to disagree and respect each other.
We are quick to call each other names or give disrespectful
tones and attitudes if we disagree with what is said.
As it goes, disrespectful and violent language
opens the way for violent action.
History shows us this over and over and over again.
We need the guidance of wise Grandfathers due
to age, experience and spiritual development.
In all civilized societies, those in harmony with nature the elders were
responsible for a community.
We need Elders,
the men and women, who have survived the test of time by building families
and communities.
We need our wise
Elders we have created dysfunction in our
communities.
There is so
much we do not know.
